How Will Families of Parishes Work? (VIDEO)

Beginning in July 2021 and continuing over the course of 2022, 216 parishes across the Archdiocese will come together to form 51 Families of Parishes.

A Family of Parishes is a group of three or more parishes working together in deeper and more intentional ways than parishes have ever done before.

Each parish within a Family will retain its own unique identity, similar to how siblings have their own unique roles in their families.

While this is a new model for us, similar structures are working successfully in other parts of the country and in Canada. Families of Parishes will empower priests, deacons, and lay staff to share their gifts and talents with all of the parishes in the Family.
